Scott R. Storozuk, D.C. received
his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Westfield State College
in 1990 and a second Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from the
National College of Chiropractic in 1992. He received his Doctor of
Chiropractic degree from the National College of Chiropractic in 1995.
He currently is the President and Co-owner of Valley Chiropractic and
Rehabilitation, which is a facility that has been serving the
communities of western Massachusetts for nearly 30 years. Dr. Storozuk
provides pre-placement agility testing for the American Medical Response
Company. Dr. Storozuk is a Certified Cox Flexion Distraction
provider, which is a technique that is very valuable in treating a
variety of cervical and lumbar conditions in which manual manipulation
would not be recommended. He is the co-author of a paper that was
published in the January 1998 edition of the Journal of the American
Chiropractic Association, regarding chronic pain behavior after a
whiplash injury. This paper was given the 1998 Literary Award by the
Virginia Chiropractic Association. Dr. Storozuk specializes in the
treatment of soft tissue injuries and currently holds a
license in the state of Massachusetts.
Anna N.
Storozuk,
D.C. received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from
George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia in 1983. She received a
second Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from the National
College of Chiropractic in 1992 before graduating with her Doctor of
Chiropractic degree in 1995. Dr. Anna Storozuk serves as the Treasurer
and co-owner of Valley Chiropractic and Rehabilitation. She is certified
in Cox flexion-distraction technique and is a Fellow in the
International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. She co-authored an
award-winning paper on whiplash injury with her husband in 1998 and also
published a paper in The Journal for the Association of Chiropractic
History in 1999. She earned her Master's certification in Whiplash Injury
from the San Diego Spine Research Institute in 2001. Dr. Anna
Storozuk is licensed to practice chiropractic in the state of
Massachusetts. She earned her Mrs in 1991 and is currently
the mother of three school-aged children. She is
very active in the community through her church and her children's
school and extracurricular activities.
James Rippa, D.C. attended Elon University in
Burlington, North Carolina, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Sports Medicine/ Exercise Sports Science in May of 2000. Dr. Rippa attended
the University of Bridgeport- College of Chiropractic and graduated Magna Cum
Laude in May of 2005. He became a nationally recognized board certified Doctor
of Chiropractic on Aug. 12, 2005. Dr. Rippa is married to Karen Bradley
Rippa,
formally of South Hadley, MA. His special clinical interests include Nutrition
and Sports Medicine. He is a member of Second Baptist Church of South Hadley, MA.
His hobbies include watching football and baseball and currently plays softball
for the Church of Christ in a spring softball league. He participates in charitable
activities including fund raising events and sponsorship of needy families during
the holidays.
William Osgood, P.T., graduated
with his Bachelor's of Science in Human Biology from the American International College
in June of 1998 and a Master in Physical Therapy with a 3.89 GPA in October of 1999,
after finishing his general studies at Springfield Technical Community College in
1995. He was given the Math Scholar Award in 1996, the Physics Award for
Outstanding Academic Achievement in Physics in 1997, and the Alpha Chi National Honor
Scholarship Society Award for Highest Academic Achievement in 1997. In addition to
working at Valley Chiropractic and Rehabilitation as a Physical Therapist, he is
also a staff Physical Therapist for Pioneer Spine and Sports in Longmeadow, Ma.
April Cowdell, PTA graduated with her Associates Degree
of Liberal arts from Springfield Technical Community College in 1995. Ms. Cowdell graduated
with a 3.8 GPA as a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She earned her certification
as a Physical Therapist Assistant, becoming licensed in 1997. She has been a member of the
professional staff of Valley Chiropractic and Rehabilitation since 2004. April has an extensive
background in the care and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. Her personal pursuits,
in addition to country line dancing, volley ball, and softball, include activities shared
with her husband, son, and daughter.
